Microsoft Intune is available through various licensing options, and it’s often included in several Microsoft 365 and Microsoft 365 Enterprise licensing plans. The specific plans that include Intune can change over time as Microsoft updates its offerings. As at November 2023, InTune is included in Microsoft 365 E5, E5, EMS E5, EMS E3, Microsoft 365 Business Premium, F1, F3, and Intune for Education.
Autopilot
Autopilot is designed to simplify and streamline the deployment and provisioning of Windows devices within an organization, making it easier for IT administrators to set up and configure devices for end-users.
With Autopilot, IT administrators can set up devices in a “zero-touch” manner, meaning devices can be delivered to end-users, and the configuration happens automatically, reducing the need for manual setup.
It allows for the automated enrollment of Windows 10 and Windows 11 devices into an organisation’s Intune MDM system during the initial device setup process.
With Intune, IT can save time and resources by automating the deployment process, reducing the need for manual configuration and on-site visits for device setup.
